La Chauve-Souris
Abigail will be playing the role of Adele in the Institut Canadien d’Art Vocal’s production of La Chauve-Souris (Die Fledermaus) by Johann Strauss II, performed live with Orchestre Classique de Montréal, under the baton of Simon Rivard, with direction by Lorraine Pintal.

TRANSLATING THE MÉLODIE: WOMEN, POETRY AND SONG IN PARIS, 1914-40
A concert to mark the culmination of a collaborative research project between Academy singers, composers and researchers, with colleagues from University College London. Exploring diverse ‘translations’ of women’s voices and experiences, it juxtaposes new songs by composition students with extracts from song cycles by Lili Boulanger, Claire Delbos and Gabriel Fauré.
